Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is the daughter of British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby (born in Paris) as well as Chris Watson (born in Paris). When she was a kid, she went to the Dragon School in Oxfordshire. Emma's goal was to be an actor. Emma was chosen to play alongside Daniel Radcliffe Rupert Grint and Rupert Grint. Emma's first screen appearance was Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone's debut in the year 2001. The film set records for opening-day sales and opening-weekend takings as well as being the most-grossing feature of 2001. Critics have praised both the film and the performance by three young actors. The Daily Telegraph praised Emma for her performance. Emma's performance was recognized and was awarded five awards in the film.
