Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor. In 2000, he began his acting career as a character on TV shows such as Opposite sex. Following appearances in several film for teens, such as 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he was noticed for his performance of the Marvel Comics character, the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and the sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans made further appearances in film adaptations of comic books as well as graphic novels, including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and Snowpiercer (2013). Evans gained more attention for the role he played as Steve Rogers / Captain America in several Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War and the ensemble films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). The Marvel films have made him one of Hollywood's highest-paid actors.
